I would have liked to see a perhaps three times as wide photograph, with more of these sharp white flowers. I get the feeling of seeing 2,5 flowers right now, and it irks me a little bit, in my humble opinion.
The way the light bounces blindingly bright from the closest, white petal adds a great sense of the sunshine from above, and the cool temperature in this light is flattering for the yellow blossoms in the background. Had the white flowers never reached that sharp, shining whiteness, then the background blur would not have burned so amazingly yellow. I adore saffron.
I love these kinds of flowers, with their bold pistills, so I can't help but love this picture.
I hope to find more from this photoshoot, it must have been a great session on a great day.
The orange in the background really accentuates the orange highlights of the lillies in the foreground without washing it out in a sea of orange. It really adds an overall coheasiveness and color unity to the image.
The detail is stunning but the lighting is a bit off I think. When dealing with Mother nature its not always something that can be controlled but a tad bit of contrast adjustment to lighten some of the darker petals in the foreground would serve to soften the subject nicely.
I like the way the subject is off center and adds interesting visual space to the image. It captures the expansiveness of the surroundings and singles out the one different lilly in the foreground.
Nice job overall keep up the good work.
